How to get to Catrinandes

Car Rental

Renting a car is a convenient option, with many providers at both Porto and Lisbon airports. Websites like Auto Europe can help you compare prices.

  • From Porto: Choose an optional toll device with your rental for the automatic tolls along the motorway.
  • From Lisbon: You’ll find tolls that accept non-automatic payment.

Private Car Transfer

You can pre-book a transfer through the airport’s website or reach out to us for a quote from a local driver. Uber and Bolt are also available from Porto and Lisbon.

By Coach

The closest coach station is in Tondela, just 4.5 km away. Both Rede Expressos Bus and Flixbus run services from Porto Airport to Tondela or Viseu (26.5 km away).

From Tondela, a taxi costs about €8, while from Viseu, it's around €25. Alternatively, give us a call - we may be able to pick you up for free!

  • If you're traveling from Lisbon Airport, the closest coach stations are Lisboa - Oriente and Lisboa - Sete Rios. Both are easily accessible via subway or taxi from Lisbon Airport.
By Train

The nearest train station is Santa Comba Dão, 20 km from us.

From Lisbon Oriente or Porto Campanhã, catch a train to Santa Comba Dão. Check the schedule here (more options are available during the summer).

From the station, a taxi to us costs about €15, or you can give us a call for a complimentary pickup if available.

By Plane

The nearest airport is Porto (OPO), about a 1 hour and 30-minute drive. Lisbon Airport (LIS) is also an option, roughly a 2 hour and 30-minute drive from us.

From both airports, you can:

  • Rent a car and enjoy a scenic drive.
  • Take an express bus/coach or a train.
  • Arrange a private taxi transfer in advance.
